This introductory workshop focuses on the essential principles of Ayurveda, a 5,000-year-old healing system, and how you can apply them in your life. You will learn about the multidimensional nature of life, the five elements (the building blocks of nature), and the three primary mind-body energy types (known as doshas). You will also explore your individual mind-body energy type and how each dosha manifests when it is in balance and out of balance.

Ayurveda is a consciousness-based approach to health and healing. In Ayurveda, health is not simply the absence of disease but is a state of expanded awareness that opens us to greater well-being, creativity, and joy. The purpose of Ayurveda is to help us return to our natural state of health, balance, and wholeness. It offers tools and guidance to help you create a lifestyle that prevents dis-ease and cultivates health.
